Unique Blogger Award

Taking some time to respond to the Unique Blogger nom from a new friend who has become a kindred and loving spirit indeed. I don’t know how we could get by if we didn’t have sweetness in our lives. That’s Maria.  She adds sugar to everything and life just tastes better. Also, she does have bigger balls than I do. She proved it by including my name on her nod list. Crazy girl!

Okay so I’m not sure if I’m doing this right or not but I’m giving it a go.

Unique — Googled it and Mariam Webster had a lot to say about it. One word/meaning stood out above all others: Unique implies singularity and the fact of being without a known parallel.

I’ll take it!

I refuse to believe we are all drones and equally alike. Life would be unbearable. I’m grateful that ya’ll aren’t the same as I am because my world wouldn’t be as wonderful, as interesting, as exciting… as meaningful without the tapestry of you. You are all a part of me now, like it or not. You’ve touched my heart and my mind and now I’m beholden to love you all unconditionally. It’s a magical side effect of this blogging thing.

Thank you for taking the time to consider me a fellow blogger.

Here be the rules then:

1. Share the link with, the blogger who has shown love to you by nominating you.

2. Answer the questions.

3. In the spirit of sharing love with our blogging family, nominate 15 people and notify them.

4. Ask them three questions.

Check, check and check.

1. What would you describe as a perfect moment?

That moment when you connect with a fellow blogger. It’s perfect. We don’t know each other from Adam and then we click somehow. I get it, I feel it. It’s an amazing experience. I can’t believe I was so afraid of starting this blog, but you’ve all made me so glad I did.

2. What general term do you feel is overrated?

I agree with Maria about Musings (Great minds think alike – he, he he!). I’d much rather use the term Reflections or… even Cogitations. Watch me use Musings in a story/blog post at some point. LOL.

3. Describe the person you aim to be in five sentences or less.

Kinder, more loving, more patient, humble, wiser, more flexible, more caring and more willing to accept the things I cannot change.

She would definitely be a better version of myself and who I strive to become on a daily basis.

My nods (in no particular order – this became difficult at about five. I love you all so much.):

J Beauty

Same questions to you all.  I think they’re good ones.

I’m deeply touched by all of you. There are others but I haven’t had enough time to walk their halls as much as I have all of yours. Each one of you provide me with some much-needed time off from me, my head. I also grow a little each time I visit your world.

Maria – you’ve sprinkled my world with magical dust!

Now my life is lovely and robust!

Love ya’ll.

How did I not comment on this? Thank you my gorgeous, talented friend for such wonderful things you’ve said about me. I’m genuinely all tingly and touched 😙
You are the epitome of unique so you deserve this and more.

  2. Thanks for the nod Mel – so glad you’ve enjoyed wading through my nonsense 🙂 Looking forward to answering the questions (via a quick detour to write the PUFfeR update post!)

  3. Oh Mel, so very thoughtful and kind of you to nominate this humble “muse” . I’m sincerely surprised, but very grateful you considered me, after only such a short connection time…. However, “Uniquely”, I’m not into the awards system on wordpress, I’m always more than happy to just have fellow friends/bloggers continue to read my words, and graciously accept any comments that may come my way. But thankyou, thankyou, for your lovely kindness xx.

    1. As long as you’re smiling, I’m happy. It was a deep connection for me. I lost my sister three years ago and so it was very organic for me to connect with you. 🙂

By the way… I’m not in the award system either. I don’t think there is one. It is not really from wordpress but from fellow bloggers… there is a chain reaction… Whereby we all nominate each other. We just pass it on.

      Luv/ Peace.

      1. I truly understand us having a deep connection, our shared empathy shall remain our bond, our deepest loss, our strongest motivation, is the way I feel about you, a little poem I wrote after Carole’s passing……. Tears
“How many rivers of tears must we cry,
Before all the deepest wells run dry.”
