Taking some time to respond to the Unique Blogger nom from a new friend who has become a kindred and loving spirit indeed. I don’t know how we could get by if we didn’t have sweetness in our lives. That’s Maria. She adds sugar to everything and life just tastes better. Also, she does have bigger balls than I do. She proved it by including my name on her nod list. Crazy girl!
Okay so I’m not sure if I’m doing this right or not but I’m giving it a go.
Unique — Googled it and Mariam Webster had a lot to say about it. One word/meaning stood out above all others: Unique implies singularity and the fact of being without a known parallel.
I’ll take it!
I refuse to believe we are all drones and equally alike. Life would be unbearable. I’m grateful that ya’ll aren’t the same as I am because my world wouldn’t be as wonderful, as interesting, as exciting… as meaningful without the tapestry of you. You are all a part of me now, like it or not. You’ve touched my heart and my mind and now I’m beholden to love you all unconditionally. It’s a magical side effect of this blogging thing.
Thank you for taking the time to consider me a fellow blogger.
Here be the rules then:
1. Share the link with, the blogger who has shown love to you by nominating you.
2. Answer the questions.
3. In the spirit of sharing love with our blogging family, nominate 15 people and notify them.
4. Ask them three questions.
Check, check and check.
1. What would you describe as a perfect moment?
That moment when you connect with a fellow blogger. It’s perfect. We don’t know each other from Adam and then we click somehow. I get it, I feel it. It’s an amazing experience. I can’t believe I was so afraid of starting this blog, but you’ve all made me so glad I did.
2. What general term do you feel is overrated?
I agree with Maria about Musings (Great minds think alike – he, he he!). I’d much rather use the term Reflections or… even Cogitations. Watch me use Musings in a story/blog post at some point. LOL.
3. Describe the person you aim to be in five sentences or less.
Kinder, more loving, more patient, humble, wiser, more flexible, more caring and more willing to accept the things I cannot change.
She would definitely be a better version of myself and who I strive to become on a daily basis.
My nods (in no particular order – this became difficult at about five. I love you all so much.):
Same questions to you all. I think they’re good ones.
I’m deeply touched by all of you. There are others but I haven’t had enough time to walk their halls as much as I have all of yours. Each one of you provide me with some much-needed time off from me, my head. I also grow a little each time I visit your world.
Maria – you’ve sprinkled my world with magical dust!
Now my life is lovely and robust!
