Feeling this!

Can’t help it y’all!  Once I get started with this nostalgia thing…  It ebbs and flows like crazy! I love… (*wink*)

Well I love a rainy night
I love a rainy night
I love to hear the thunder
Watch the lightning
When it lights up the sky
You know it makes me feel good

Well I love a rainy night
It’s such a beautiful sight
I love to feel the rain
On my face
To taste the rain on my lips
In the moonlight shadow

CHORUS:
Showers washed
All my cares away
I’d wake up to a sunny day
‘Cause I love a rainy night
Yes I love a rainy night
Well I love a rainy night
I love a rainy night

Well I love a rainy night
I love a rainy night
I love to hear the thunder
Watch the lightning
When it lights up the sky
You know it makes me feel good

Well I love a rainy night
It’s such a beautiful sight
I love to feel the rain
On my face
To taste the rain on my lips
In the moonlight shadow

Puts a song
In this heart of mine
Puts a smile on my face every time

‘Cause I love a rainy night
Yeah I love a rainy night
Ooh I love a rainy night
Yeah I love a rainy night

    1. It is one of the best songs you can have stuck in your head. I was in 6th grade and my favorite teacher, Art class, would put this on. I admired her so much. She was as free spirit looking cool wearing her boots. Man… I thought she was the coolest. I love this song for making me dream and inspiring me to be as cool as her one day. I might just already be as cool. LOL.

      1. I was inspired by her and I wanted her to be proud of me. I did really well in art. She would often times point out my work to the class. She was amazing. It was not the best group of kids. I group up in a bit of a rough neighborhood in Dallas. So that school was huge and somewhat troubled. So I think she used positivity to enhance our mood. I was not the only whose work she would hold out to light but I felt I was her favorite student. LOL. Teachers are the bomb! You my friend are explosive for sure!

Thanks! It seems like a lifetime ago since I left the classroom and it has only been 3 years. I have too many passions! I have to make time for all of my dreams!
