100 DoRaM: Day 75 – Three fourths… done

Hello lovelies! Day 75! Eeeeek!

What was the reason behind these days?

Honestly, I wanted to be disciplined in my writing and consistent in my posting. I think I managed at least one of those two. I didn’t really know what I was doing or exactly what I wanted to do with this project. I know this…

I’ve changed a lot. I’ve grown. I’m not so shy anymore with my thoughts. I’ve made friends… maybe lost some. Me, my stuff, my ways… not for everyone. I like that I learned this more than anything. That’s because one of my biggest fears was letting my work out and having it adversely affect someone. I believe I may be over that a bit. I did say this in my very early start to this project that I might lose some of you. I know that this is not for everyone. Luckily, there are lots of stars in this blogosphere sky. Mine hasn’t even grown to full shine yet but I’m getting there. I hope. I’ve grown, and I’ve learned a great deal about myself. Big, big sigh, as Matl would say.

Well… what does 100 DoRaM stand for anyway? 100 Days of Reflection and Music is what it started out to be. Now… how about we take that R… Ramblings, Randoms, Rubbish, Romance (*breathe sigh*). Umm… can y’all think of anymore? Please, don’t hold back! I’m crazy about these days. I like that I was able to keep up somewhat with them in some fashion or whatever post. I’m happy for what came out. Grateful for the friends I’m making. Hey R… Respect for all of you putting up with me. Thanks! Thanks a whole heap of R’s.

DoRaM = sleep depravation extravagance!

How did I get to 75? I slept. That’s how. LOL. Definitely have been feeling the lack of sleep. I’m a busy working Mom. Squeezing in time for anything I love is a luxury. Seriously. Deep breaths and just plain exhaustion sometimes. Not so much physical but mental. It is serious when you hit your bed, you lose consciousness almost immediately and you wake up four hours later saying to yourself… wait… I had to do… something. Yep, something didn’t get done. But I was done. I’m definitely listening to my body from now on. I need to take better care of myself first, so I can take care of… stuff!

So there you have it friends… three fourths done. I can’t believe it! Mainly because it’s me. LOL. I don’t do stuff like this. I just write fiction… yep.  (Really?  You don’t say?) I know!!!  Don’t worry. I have big plans after these days are over. Fiction… you will be flooded!

Some Kind of Heaven, Part 1… happy to say it’s coming out soon! Yay!

I love each and every one of you for sticking around. I love you for letting me boss you around as well (you know who you are). I love you mainly because you’re all wonderful and I’ve enjoyed our exchanges tremendously! You’ve all helped in these R’s and we’ve connected over the M. That’s so precious to me. Thank you so very much!

Ready for this M?

Love y’all for reading and for listening!

  2. I love sleepy Mel, but rested and healthy Mel is probably best. (I’m being subtly bossy!).
    By the way, love… no one said the 100 days had to be all in a row! 😉 I would wait patiently if you were to take a day off. I’d get my fix by visiting some of your other posts, some my favorite posts of all time. ❤
