PoL # 7 – Fever Breaking

In the morning when I wake
Enjoying your dreamy voice

And the sun is coming through,
Images of you caressing my mind

Oh, you fill my lungs with sweetness,
Breathe sighs dancing in my soul

And you fill my head with you.
Dreaming heavily with your love

Shall I write it in a letter?
Your fingers drawing over my body

Shall I try to get it down?
Effortlessly reading my dance

Oh, you fill my head with pieces
A puzzle clearly coming together

Of a song I can’t get out.
A melody of a perfect sky

Can I be close to you?
Desire in every breath of you

Ooh-oo-oo-ooh, ooh (simile).
Soothing into your love

Can I be close to you?
Wanting you in blissful ache

Ooh, ooh.
The sweetest nectar, YOU

Can I take it to a morning
The ritual of our loving kiss

Where the fields are painted gold
Our skies creating a heavenly symphony

And the trees are filled with memories
Our longing tender and sweet

Of the feelings never told?
Revealing  truths in whispers

When the evening pulls the sun down,
Tucked in under the covers of our love

And the day is almost through,
Gently breathing sighs of you

Oh, the whole world it is sleeping,
My heart wide awake and swollen

But my world is you.
Forever embracing you

Can I be close to you?
Whispering “I love you”

(Ah) ooh (aah), ooh (aah).
The sounds of our love

Can I be close to you?
Lost in the sweetness of your touch

(Ah) ooh (aah), ooh (aah).
Stirs of honey between us

Can I be close to you?
Drawing kisses over you

(Ah) ooh (aah), ooh (aah)
Devotion’s lullaby on your lips

Can I be close to you?
Your slave for anything you want

(Ah) ooh (aah), ooh (aah).
Tenderness bleeding out in perfect rhythm

Can I be close to you?
Aching for your body now

Ooh, ooh.
Fever breaking, now you’re mine
